A Mother’s Prayer Answered

I came to the Men’s Home just wanting to get sober but God gave me so much more than sobriety. Jesus blessed me with Salvation, and delivered me from my addiction. I thank God for my Moms prayers, now I’m the first Victory Home Graduate in Paso Robles and serving as an Assistant Director. I have been called by God to disciple and empower other Men to reach their full potential for the honor and glory of God.

I Thought I Wasn’t That Bad

My life consisted of smoking weed every day, abusing prescription pills, and massive alcohol consumption into the night. I thought I wasn’t that bad, until I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my life and realized otherwise. I was living a lie chasing pleasure, wasting my time and energy on relationships that weren’t healthy.  The Ministry of Victory Outreach is where I found God and my purpose in life. I am a Victory Home graduate and now currently a student in the West Coast Urban Training Center “UTC” developing leadership qualities and a stronger foundation on the Word of God.

A Message of Hope and Healing

Our message is simple; Jesus can change and transform any life no matter the condition or the addiction.  The Bible is used as the foundation to bring a message of deliverance. Once the message is heard and received, addicts are taken off the streets or in some cases out of prison and given an opportunity to live in these Homes (as it is often referred to). The people who direct the Homes know it’s not an easy road yet through tough love, compassion, and support they have been able to see tremendous results.

Results for a Lifetime

Once a resident completes his/her stay at our Victory Recovery Homes, follow up is provided by the local church, where they’re directed to get actively involved in the life flow of the church.  Each Victory Home has a local church that residents are very much a part of and take an active role in the functions of the local church.

The emphasis in these Victory Homes, is creating a lifetime of service to others. Many graduates go on to work with addicts, gangs and other hurting people by helping them know the freedom they now embrace.  Victory Homes have an exponential effect in helping and getting involved in reaching out to our communities. By rescuing one person, they, in turn, reach out too many others.
